Japan's ODA Programs


Japan's ODA to Jordan is classified into three types;

Grant Aid

Grant aid is a form of financial assistance to provide funds without assigning the obligation of repayment. Grant aid is categorized into several schemes according to its nature.

Loan Aid

Loan aid makes a considerable amount of funds available at low rates and with long payment periods. The purpose of Loan Aid is to provide funds to improve the economic and social infrastructure necessary to support self-help efforts and sustainable economic development.

JICA is the responsible body of this type of Japan's ODA.

Technical Cooperation

Technical Cooperation contributes to the development of human resources through direct contact and exchange of the Jordanian people.
