Education
It is important for Jordan to keep providing qualified human resources in accordance with social changes. And, higher education institutes are required to build capacities of students as highly-trained human resources. Japan has conducted the projects which contributed to the introduction of the practical curriculum and the promotion of the co-operation between industry and academia.
Major Projects
1. The Study on Digital Self-Learning Material Development(Technical Cooperation)
(FY2002-2003)
This study provided the staffs of the Jordanian government with practical experience in the digitization of a textbook through a process of analysis, specification, development, implementation, and evaluation to foster the ability of the staffs.
2. GDLN Center in the University of Jordan
(Technical Cooperation)
(FY2001)
The Global Development Learning Network (GDLN) is a worldwide partnership of distance learning centers and other organizations committed to development learning and development dialogue for lasting poverty reduction. The Center in the University of Jordan was founded in 2001, and Japan provided equipments in the Center more than half of amount including teleconference system.
