Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC)
Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) is one of the key institutions for Japan's official development aid (ODA), which has a mandate to undertake lending and other operations for economic and social development as well as economic stability in the developing economies. JBIC operates under the principle that it will not compete with financial institutions in the private sector.
JBIC's recent contribution to Jordan is "Tourism Sector Development Project" that JBIC singed in FY1998 to finance 65.4 million US Dollars.
