Japanese Government Scholarship for Postgraduate studies
Changes in 2009 | Outline | Qualifications | Application | Selection Concept | Selection Schedule | FAQIn order to promote mutual understanding between Japan and Jordan and to take part in the human development of Jordan, the Government of Japan has awarded more than seventy postgraduate scholarships to Jordanian youth since the 1970s.
Their specialties vary in the fields of medical science, engineering, economic, agriculture, IT, environment and so on. The scholarship grantees live in various provinces in Japan and participate in academic exchange as well as cultural exchange. The returnees from the scholarship program are now actively engaged in academic field and business sector also.
Because the Japanese academic year starts from April, the Embassy of Japan selects grantees every summer and sends them to Japan the next spring.
