Conferment of Decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon upon Professor Sa’ad Abudayeh

　On 10 August 2026, Ambassador of Japan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mr. ASARI Hideki awarded the Decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon to Dr. Sa’ad Abudayeh, Former Professor of Political Science, University of Jordan at the Ambassador’s Residence.
 
　Professor Abudayeh is highly regarded in the Japanese academic community for his research on Jordanian history and tribal societies, and has contributed to promoting academic exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and Jordan through interactions with Japanese researchers.
