Japan and IFRC partner to provide life-saving health services to vulnerable populations in Jordan, including Gaza’s medical evacuees

Japan has announced the launch of an IFRC-implemented project in Jordan, fully aligned with Jordan’s national health priorities and the Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative, aimed at providing urgent, high-quality surgical and associated medical care for children evacuated from Gaza, among other services. The project will also include the establishment and operationalization of a Prosthetic Limb Production Unit that will serve Gaza’s medical evacuees, refugees and vulnerable Jordanians.
