Ambassador ASARI Hideki visits Ghor Al Mazraa Comprehensive Health Centre, Observed the Japan-funded project through UNFPA

On 27 October 2025, Ambassador ASARI Hideki of Japan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan visited Karak Governorate to celebrate the inclusion of Ghor Al Mazraa Comprehensive Health Centre into the Women-Friendly Health Centres programme under the ongoing Japan-funded project “Integrated Life-Saving SRH and GBV Services for Vulnerable Women and Girls in Underserved Southern Areas of Jordan”. The visit was conducted in the presence of Dr. Raed AL-Shboul, Secretary General of Primary Health Care and Epidemic, Ministry of Health, Abdulmoghni UNFPA Representative, touring the center facilities and having fruitful discussions with all relevant stakeholders about the project activities which focus on strengthening the quality of SRH services, integrating GBV response within the primary health care system, and ensuring that women and girls have access to respectful, rights-based, and survivor-centered care.
