Imperial Decorations in Spring 2025

His Excellency Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army was awarded “ The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon” by the Government of Japan on 29 April 2025. This was made public when the recipients of the Imperial Decorations in Spring 2025 was announced. He contributed to the development/promotion of the relationship between Jordan and Japan in the field of defense.
 
 
Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army has served for many years at his current position and has made significant contributions to the promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and Jordan through strengthening of defense cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, including major contributions to the successful implementation of the Japan Self-Defense Force’s mission “Transportation of Japanese Nationals Overseas” [TJNO].
