Japanese Embassy in Jordan is seeking to recruit a new clerk in Economic and Development Cooperation section. Please read the following and submit your application to our Embassy by 10:00am 3rd March, 2019. Note that we only accept printed documents. Please do not send your application via email.
Written exams in English and interview tests will follow the submission of documents. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted by 10th of March.
- Motivation letter (please write the reason you want to work at the Embassy in 500 words)
- Passport copy
- Criminal record certificate (issued from the court)
- Deep understanding in economic issues and development cooperation in Jordan.
- Good communication skills with Japanese and other local staffs.
- Work experience in related fields (at governmental organizations, private companies, etc.) (Preferable)
- Strong intention to work as a bridge between Jordan and Japan.
- Japanese language ability (if possible)
- Crafting official documents in English and Arabic
- Drafting speeches, press releases, Note verbal and letters,
- Arranging signing ceremonies for Japanese ODA
- Translating and summarizing Arabic and English newspaper to English every morning
- Making an appointment for Japanese staffs
- Making surveys and translation regarding Economy and Development Cooperation.
- Assisting work of Japanese staffs mainly in the field of Economy and Development Cooperation
