Embassy of Japan Volunteers with Tkiyet Um Ali to Serve Iftar Meals

On March 11 2025, staff from the Embassy of Japan in Jordan volunteered in an activity organized by Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA), an NGO that aims to eradicate hunger and malnutrition in Jordan. The organization distributed free iftar meals, the first meal after sunset during the fasting month of Ramadan, to underprivileged members of society. The Embassy staff assisted by packaging and distributing meals to beneficiaries.
TUA expressed their gratitude to the Embassy of Japan for its participation and stressed importance of food assistance for underprivileged people. A total of 4,648 meals were distributed that day.
