Youth Communicators for a World without Nuclear Weapons

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan held the "Forum of Youth Communicators for a World without Nuclear Weapons in Hiorshima - What Young People Can Do to Realize a World Free of Nuclear Weapons" on March 27, 2016, as a part of pre-event of "G7 Hiroshima Foreign Ministers' Meeting".
At the session, H.E. Mr. Fumio KISHIDA, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan , who launched the Youth Communicators for a World without Nuclear Weapons program, delivered opening remarks to young people who served as Youth Communicators for a World without Nuclear Weapons. Minister Kishida stressed the importance of spreading understanding of the realities of the atomic bombings across generations and borders, and announced 1) commencement of the International Networking Initiative of Youth Communicators for a World without Nuclear Weapons and 2) a plan to invite over 1,000 people to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
