- Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Rym Al Ali, Executive Commissioner of the RFC, the ceremony was held at the RFC Multi Media Center
- Ambassador Kato and Mr. Ibrahim Safadi, CEO of SAE Institute Jordan, attended it along with staff of the joint organizers, namely the RFC, SAE, and Embassy of Japan.
- H.R.H. Princess Rym said at her speech: “We in Jordan have always been open to knowledge, from wherever it comes and to understanding other cultures or art brought from anywhere in the world, West, or East. We don’t believe in the clash of civilizations, we believe in the mutual enrichment of people and cultures… We realize how lucky we are that Mr. Shinkai devoted all this time to pass on his skills, here in Jordan and we can work on making sure there will be other similar opportunities in the future. Jordan will always welcome Mr. Shinkai with open arms if he wants to come back”
