Mr. Taro Aso, Japanese Foreign Minister, and H.E. Mr. Abdelelah Al-Khatib, Jordanian Foreign Minister, signed the Memorandum on Policy Consultations between the two Foreign Ministries

- The memorandum is to hold regular consultations, which include all areas such as political, economic, commercial, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.
- Following the signing ceremony, the two ministers discussed mainly the
following points;
a) how to enhance the bilateral relations,
b) Japan's commitment to issues in the Middle East,
c) the partnership between the two countries
