Japan funds UNRWA's 'Mother and Child Health' Handbook Project
UNRWA’s health department on Thursday launched a booklet titled, “Mother and
Child Health”. The booklet, which was implemented in cooperation with the Japan
International Cooperation Agency and financed by the Japanese government,
provides helpful information for pregnant women and mothers on how to look after
their children from birth until the age of five. It also provides information
for medical service providers in refugee camps, which enables them to provide
quality services in accordance with the Kingdom’s health strategy and the
international standards.
