The Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Scholarship - Other Nationalities

The MEXT Scholarship is open to all nationalities - through embassies of Japan worldwide, or through universities in Japan.

The Embassy of Japan in Jordan accepts scholarship applications from Jordanian citizens only.

All holders of Jordanian passports, regardless of passport type, are welcome to apply.

Syria

No applications possible at any Japanese embassy for the year 2014. Please apply for a university recommendation for MEXT at a Japanese university of your choice.

Iraq

All applications to be processed through the Embassy of Japan in Iraq.
